Robert Rutkowski is a Partner in the Brooklyn Heights, OH office of WWR and manages the firm’s Credit Union department and the Corporate & Financial Services practice group. Rob obtained his B.A. from the University of Akron in 1988 and his J.D. from the Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 1991. A member of the American, Ohio State, Lake County and Cleveland Bar Associations (former Cleveland Board Trustee), Rob is licensed in Ohio and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court (Northern District of OH). Rob served on the Board of Directors for the Lake County Educational Federal Credit Union for 4 ½ years. He was recognized as on Ohio Rising Star in 2006 by Law and Politics and Cinncinati magazines. Rob is a frequent lecturer on legal issues for credit unions and has served as a speaker for the Credit Union National Association (CUNA), the National Association of Federal Credit Unions (NAFCU) and most recently, the Credit Union Executives Society (CUES), where he led a series of informational webinars. He has been published in Credit Union Magazine, Credit Union Management Magazine, The Cleveland Bar Journal, The National List, The WWR Letter, Corporate Counsel and The Recoverer. John Porter is an Associate in the Credit Union department of the Brooklyn Heights, OH office of WWR. John obtained his B.A. magna cum laudein Political Science from Wittenberg University (1999) and his J.D. from the The Ohio State University, Michael E. Moritz College of Law (2002). Due to our successful year, we are considering a bonus dividend to our members. I have never been in a position to provide this before, and could use some guidance on criteria (eligible shares, loan interest rebates, etc) as well as exclusions/limitations.
