I wanted to take a moment to link to my friend Anthony’s blog at NAFCU. He has answered a question that I get a lot when I give presentations on D/O liability. People ask: “How much fidelity bond coverage should a credit union have?” Anthony has linked to a very handy chart.
In other news, I also want to link to a great blog post on what to think about when hiring independent contractors. A lot of people gave their two cents on this (including yours humbly) and I think the result really puts this decision making process into perspective.

Independent contractors are great if you don’t work them a full time schedule. When you do though you may not see a savings.
